The Unbelievable Lemongrass

I am passionate about what we do at Agro Pianta and knowing that you are there to read my articles gives me untold joy! Really, thank you for spending time on here.

Moving ahead to today’s juicy bits..

I have made many references to my early childhood and I keep making them, I know. However, this is only telling how many more experiences I am yet to share with you, my ardent readers and this brings us to what I will refer to as “my lemongrass story“:

On a fateful day, I caught the flu -the runny nose type doesn’t seem to dry up on time- with a terrible fever, spiking temperature and a terrible headache that comes from constant nose blows. It was very dreary. My parents promptly took me to see our family doctor and as usual tears and screams rented the air as two solid injections were administered on my tender behind. What followed after was my condition gradually declining even though my mom followed the doctor’s prescriptions accordingly. But after all was said and done, it soon became obvious that I needed another remedy and possibly a more experienced hand.

Eventually came my grandmother to the rescue, bearing her famous and never-failing lemongrass tea concoction. I call it a concoction because it was concocted: lime, traces of ginger and honey were added into the mix and surprisingly it tasted really good. Shortly after downing the two cups of lemongrass concoction, I fell into a deep sleep. When I woke up, I was drenched in my own sweat and as if by some miraculous intervention, my runny nose and fever had also disappeared! Which brings me here because I thought about not only sharing my wonderful story with you guys but to also share the amazing health benefits of LEMONGRASS.
